Paragraph AI Credits
Paragraph AI Credits include $10 of AI usage per billing period on Scale, with usage tracking and built-in AI workflows across Paragraph CMS.

Paragraph AI Credits are the included AI usage balance that comes with the Scale plan in Paragraph CMS. They power the built-in Paragraph AI model, so teams can use AI features without bringing their own provider key first.
In the current implementation, Scale organizations receive 10 USD worth of Paragraph AI credits per billing period. The balance is visible directly inside the app, which makes the feature easy to track instead of feeling hidden behind infrastructure.
Track usage inside the organization settings
The clearest overview lives in Organization > General, where Paragraph CMS shows a usage ring, the amount already used, the total included balance, and the next reset date when it is available.
That gives teams a simple answer to a practical question: how much included AI usage is left before they should slow down or move part of the workflow to BYOK.

Used across built-in AI workflows
Paragraph AI Credits are not limited to one button. They can be consumed across the built-in AI flows in the page experience, including page drafting, editor rewrites, SEO metadata generation, hero metadata generation, and language translation flows.
That makes the feature broader than a single assistant. It is the default AI layer behind several writing and optimization tasks across Editor, Page SEO, Page Hero, and Translations and Retranslations.

Included AI, not a replacement for BYOK
Paragraph AI Credits are meant to be the easiest starting point. Teams that want their own vendor billing, their own model mix, or provider-specific workflows can switch to BYOK instead.
That gives Paragraph CMS two clear AI paths: included usage for quick adoption, or external provider keys for teams that want more direct control.
