Page SEO
Page SEO gives editors control over URL slugs, SEO titles, and meta descriptions, with AI generation, manual editing, and slug validation built in.

Page SEO is the page-level SEO section inside the side panel. It gives editors direct control over the URL slug, SEO title, and meta description without forcing those decisions into the visible page title or body copy.
It is the feature teams use when they want a page to stay editorially readable while still shaping how it should appear in search and delivery layers such as the API Client or SEO Client.
Control the page URL and search copy
The SEO accordion contains three fields:
Slug
Meta Name
Meta Description
Each one can be edited manually. The slug stays independent from the page title, which is useful when the public URL should stay shorter or cleaner than the visible headline. The current implementation also validates slug uniqueness, so one active page cannot silently overwrite another page's path.

Generate metadata from the current page
The slug can be generated instantly from the current page title. Meta name and meta description can also be generated from the current page title and content with AI, which helps when the draft is already strong and the SEO layer should follow it instead of being written from scratch.
In the current implementation:
slug generation is built into the page workflow,
SEO metadata can still be edited manually at any time,
and AI generation for meta name and meta description is exposed through the page's selected AI model when that AI SEO flow is available in the workspace

Connected to page quality checks
Page SEO is closely tied to SEO Analytics. The score reads the same title, meta description, hero presence, and body structure that editors are adjusting here, so the two features work best together.
